The first episode features an archive radio recording from the 1980s by Fr. Jackie Fitzgerald, reminiscing on the journey made by the Carndonagh Line, or the Lough Foyle and Swilly Railway. The recording was kindly shared with me by Ian Kelly of Carndonagh.

The recording was first broadcast on NWCR, North West Community Radio, a well-known pirate radio station that was widely listened to in the Inishowen area at the time.

This my first attempt in the ‘podcast’ format. Hopefully there will be more like it in the future!
